Syracuse, N.Y.— Military journalism student Nick Kurtz has covered stories from all over the world. He has been a radio DJ overseas and an anchor and reporter for American Forces Network. One of his favorite stories took place a few months ago here in Central York. Kurtz explains why he enjoyed producing the story about the Dickens’ Christmas event in the town of Skaneateles.

“It was a lot of fun because I got to take my family we me on the shoot and we hadn’t been that far out of Syracuse yet so it was kinda neat to see the Finger Lakes area and that old town feeling,” Kurtz said.
